At the Garden Center Geojardim Quinta das Palmeiras you can find exterior and interior plants, fruit trees, aquatics, succulents, palm trees, aromatics, subtracts, vases, fertilisers and also the biggest offering of large Mediterranean trees in the East Algarve - Olive Trees, Fig Trees, Carob Trees, Orange Trees, Lemon Trees and Pomegranate Trees.

Supporting the local community

We reinvest part of our profits to our local community.
We advocate for local culture development by sponsoring the Cine Clube Tavira “Mostra Ar-Livre Tavira” and support social welfare organisations including the Portuguese Red Cross - Tavira delegation.

Glyphosate

This year at the Garden Center we are solely applying natural insecticides and fungicides to control the most common pests as a means to evaluate the results and develop a solution that is transferable to the maintenance team for general use. We completely stopped selling and using herbicides with a glyphosate base.

Recycling

In 2019, the green waste produced by our maintenance has been transformed  into 20 tones of organic compost in our own facilities to be reused. We deliver around 1200 kgs of plastic to the local recycling location and we are closely working with our suppliers to reduce the utilisation of plastic, particularly in the logistic and haulage of products.

We work collaboratively with suppliers based on their sustainability policies and social corporate responsibility pledges.
